The Blue Ridge Blues Society
would like to help preserve Blues History In Roanoke.

The Blue Ridge Blues Society is helping with the great cause.
Part of the proceeds from the Blue Ridge Blues & BBQ Festival
are going to help TAP (Total Action Against Poverty) renovate
the Hotel Dumas located where the old Henry Street was located
so many years ago.

During the thirties and forties, the Blues Masters would come
to Roanoke, stay at the Hotel Dumas, and play right there on
Henry Street. Much of this community was torn down over the
years and completely neglected. TAP is working to bring back
this lost pride to Roanoke.

is becoming of this historic location, please click
